In 1958, Beginning of the foundation of Jiangsu Glass Manufactory.

In 1968, Jiangsu Glass Manufactory completed the first flat glass production line in Jiangsu Province.

In 1986, Jiangsu Glass Manufactory completed the second flat glass production line in Jiangsu Province.

In 1994, Jiangsu Glass Manufactory completed the first float glass line in Jiangsu Province.

In 1998, Jiangsu Glass Manufactory was restructured as Jiangsu Glass Group Co., Ltd.

In 2001, Jiangsu Glass Group Co., Ltd established Jiangsu SHD New Materials Co., Ltd.

In 2002, Jiangsu SHD New Materials Co., Ltd built the second float glass line.

In 2004, Hony Capital, which is a subsidiary of Legend Holdings Limited, acquired and restructured Jiangsu SHD New Materials Co., Ltd, and founded China Glass Holdings Limited.

On 23 June 2005, China Glass Holdings Limited was listed on the main board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (Stock Code: 3300，stock short name: “China Glass”)

In 2005, Suqian Huayi Coated Glass Co., Ltd（formerly known as Suqian CNG New Materials Co.,Ltd，have been merged currently）was founded, and the third float glass line was completed .

In 2006, China Glass Holdings Limited Beijing Representative Office was established.

In 2006, acquired Shaanxi Lanxing Co.,Ltd (currently known as “CNG (Shaanxi) New Technology Limited”) and Beijing Qinchang Glass Co., Ltd. by which they became our subsidiaries.

In 2007, acquired Weihai Lanxing Glass Co.Ltd (currently known as “Weihai CNG Coated Glass Co.,Ltd”), Weihai CNG New Technology Glass Co., Ltd (have been merged currently), CNG Technology Co., Ltd (have been merged currently) by which they became our subsidiaries.

In 2007, acquired Wuhai Lanxing Glass Co. (currently known as “Wuhai CNG Special Glass Limited”) by which it became our subsidiary.

In 2007, The ON-LINE SOLAR CONTROL REFLECTIVE GLASS line of Xianyang Lanxing Coated Glass Limited (formerly known as “CNG(Xianyang) Coated Glass Limited”，have been merged currently) was put into production.

In 2008, Weihai Base was relocated to Weihai International Port Economic and Technological Development District

In 2009,The OFF-LINE LOW-E REFLECTIVE GLASS line of Weihai CNG Coated Glass Co., Ltd was put into production.

In 2009, The first ON-LINE LOW-E REFLECTIVE GLASS line of Dongtai CNG Special Glass Co., Ltd was put into production.

In 2010, The second ON-LINE LOW-E REFLECTIVE GLASS line of Dongtai CNG Special Glass Co., Ltd was put into production.

In 2010, The first ON-LINE LOW-E REFLECTIVE GLASS line of CNG (Linyi) Glass Co., Ltd (currently known as “CNG (Linyi) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd”) was put into production.

In 2011, The second ON-LINE LOW-E REFLECTIVE GLASS line of CNG (Linyi) Glass Co., Ltd (currently known as “CNG (Linyi) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd”) was put into production.

In 2013, Wuhai CNG Special Glass Limited was relocated to Qianli Shan Industrial Park. Its ON-LINE LOW-E REFLECTIVE GLASS line was put into production.

In 2014, China National Building Materials Group entered and became the shareholder.

In 2016, China National Building Materials Group became the largest shareholder through acquisition of shares.

In 2017, Suqian Base relocated to High-tech Zone, and the production line of Suqian CNG Electronic Glass Co., Ltd (have been merged currently) was put into production.

In 2018, wholly acquired Olivotto Glass Technologies S.p.A. in Italy.

In 2018, cooperated with Hony Capital and established "the Belt and Road Integration Fund of Glass Industry ", and in the same year, acquired 69.7% of the equity interests of Orda Glass Ltd LLP in Kazakhstan.

In 2019, the float glass line of CNG Glass (Nigeria) FZE was put into production.

In 2020, the photovoltaic glass processing line with an annual production capacity of 12 million square meters of Jiangsu SHD New Materials Co., Ltd. was put into production.

In 2021, acquired 55% of the equity of Fujian Longtai Industries Company Limited. The first float glass production line of Longtai was put into production.

In 2021, the Line 1(the automotive glass and functional glass production line) after cold-repairing and technical modification of CNG (Shaanxi) New Technology Co., Ltd. was put into production

In 2021, the automotive glass production line of Jiangsu Suhuada New Materials Co., Ltd. was put into production.

In 2021, " A Complete Set of Technologies and Applications for Efficient Preparation of Float Online Oxide Series Functional Thin Films", which co-developed with Zhejiang University, won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award.

In 2021, completed the acquisition of 100% of the equity interests of Orda Glass Ltd LLP in Kazakhstan.

In 2022, China Glass Holdings Limited Shanghai Representative Office was established.

In 2022, the float glass production line of Orda Glass Ltd LLP in Kazakhstan was put into production.

In 2023, the Ultra-White rolled photovoltaic glass production line (the first phase of the project of Suqian CNG New Energy Materials Industrial Park), was put into production.

In 2023, the ON-LINE TCO coated glass production line of Dongtai CNG Special Glass Co., Ltd., put into production,which was renovated with independent intellectual property rights by CNG.

In 2023, the OFF-LINE Low Emission (Low-E) coated glass production line of Dongtai CNG Special Glass Co., Ltd. was put into production.
