Weihai Base currently has the jurisdiction over Weihai CNG Coated Glass Co., Ltd., CNG Intelligent Manufacture (WeiHai) Functional Glass Company Limited. Its predecessor was Weihai Glass Factory, which completed the first flat glass production line in Shandong Province in 1965 and relocated to Weihai International Port Economic and Technological Development District in 2008. The Base is close to the port and has a geographical advantage for export.

    Weihai Base currently has three high-quality float glass with online coated glass production lines, an offline Low-E coated glass production line. The main products include colorless transparent float glass, tinted float glass, online and offline temperable Low-E coated glass, online and offline sunlight-control coated glass, online TCO coated glass, online sunlight & easy-clean coated Glass, online Sun-R and online Sun-EⓉ energy-saving coated glass, with five series, like green, gray, blue, tawny, gold, of which are more than 10 colors of products. Also, the Base can develop other color series products timely for the market. Among those products, online coated products have the independent intellectual property rights of CNG and high visibility and reputation in the domestic and foreign markets with advanced manufacturing technology which reached the international advanced level. Its products are exported to more than 90 countries and regions, such as North America, EU, Russia, Australia, Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Taiwan, etc..  

    Weihai Base has a complete set of low-temperature waste heat power generation system, with perfect flue gas desulfurization, denitration, dust elimination systems.

    Weihai Base has obtained the certification of the "Four standards with One system" which is the standards of Quality, Environment, Energy, Occupational Health together with Safety Management System. And it successively gained the honors of the "China Top Brand" and "China Well-Known Trade Marks" etc. In May 2020, it was granted as “the Advanced Group of National Building Materials Industry" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the China Building Materials Federation. It was awarded the title of "Green Factory" in Shandong Province in 2022. 

  Weihai Base will focus on the development of energy-saving glass, functional glass, pharmaceutical glass and other fields in the future. And it will become an important production base of CNG in new glass and new materials.
